Rocksavage Power Station, in Runcorn, Cheshire, is an 800 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant near the junction of the River Weaver and River Mersey. Built by Bechtel for £375 million, it was opened in 1998 by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
